Paying Premiums is important to activate the coverage

The enrollment for Marketplace Insurance 2018 has ended and now it is the time to pay the first premium of the new plan to get the benefits.

The date of enrolling names and updating KYC of the policy holders for Marketplace Insurance 2018 is over and the New Year has begun. With the new year, the insurance market has made some offers available for the policy holders who had enrolled their names in the Marketplace Insurance 2018.

In the previous articles it is clearly stated that this new updated plan is very important for all the policy holders as it will offer various benefits that will be added with the previous ones. But to get the benefits a policy holder has to clear his/her monthly premiums directly to the related health insurance company but not to the Health Insurance Marketplace and most of all the coverage will not work till the payment is done.

Though there is a different way of handling premium payments by Insurance companies but the policy holder should follow the instruction of his/her insurer to pay the premiums. In this technology period every payment or work is done through online and this deposition of premium can also be payable through offline. The right way of paying premium is stated here through a step-by-step process:

• At first the policy holder has to log in his/her Marketplace account.
• Then select the option “Start a new application or update an existing one”.
• Then in the top right of the page click the name of policy holder and select the option “My application & coverage”, after that just select 2018 application under the option “Your existing applications”.
• Then clicking on the blue button, the policy holder can pay his/her first premium.
• For online payment select the green button beside the option “Pay your health plan now” and go to the certain insurance company’s website and pay it.

Now it’s your turn to pay the first premium and continue the benefits.
